This series of paintings, which is ongoing, was inspired by the pandemic. They reflect anxiety, hope and the passage of time. During quarantine, I discovered a box of my childhood drawings that became a subject of artistic focus. They reflect the same emotions in response to tragedy that the pandemic stirred in me, as well as the power of resilience and imagination. The paintings capture time within time. They celebrate the meeting of two "selves."
