Born to fine artist parents, my interest in art started very early, as soon as I could handle a pencil. Drawing was my first love and remains foundational to my work. I am a colorist, compelled to paint from life. Formalism is my inspiration and narrative is my subject. Whether working plein air on the streets of Manhattan or painting in my studio, I interpret stories about light. In doing so, I describe the energy and nuance of life.
